I am Bruce Danz, an avocational photographer since age 8, more intensely so over the last 25 years. I have always been drawn to The Landscape, and developed my eye for light, form and composition from studying classic works of painted and photographic art from early childhood. I seek to record the beauty in nature in its various forms and hope the viewer nothing more than to better appreciate the same, and hopefully, their part in it. More recently I have been drawn to photographing birds, but not just birds in themselves, but birds as a part of the landscape/environment.
I am also a retired Family Physician, having practiced medicine at the Kaukauna Clinic for 37 years. I live with my wife, Chris and have 4 children.
